Meet Tinuke: entrepreneur, content creator, speaker, and the driving force behind Mums and Tea. As a passionate advocate for Black mothers and women, Tinuke has transformed her personal experiences into a thriving community that empowers, connects, and celebrates motherhood in all its beautiful complexity.

The Birth of Mums and Tea

Mums and Tea was born from my own experiences as a Black mother navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood. I realised the need for a space where mothers like me could find resources, support, and a sense of community. What started as a personal blog has blossomed into a platform featured in The Guardian, Women’s Health Mag, and multiple news outlets touching the lives of countless women across the UK and beyond.

Expertise and Speaking

As an entrepreneur and content creator, I've had the privilege of speaking at events on topics close to my heart: parenting, Black maternal health, and raising an autistic child. My journey has not only equipped me with valuable insights but also fueled my passion for sharing knowledge and fostering meaningful conversations within our community.

Collaborations and Initiatives

Mums and Tea has grown beyond my wildest dreams, leading to collaborations with renowned brands like HSBC and Sweaty Betty. I'm particularly proud of our initiatives such as the Five X More Campaign and Learning With Ez, which address critical issues facing Black mothers and provide educational resources for children.

When I'm not working on Mums and Tea, you'll find me balancing life as a wife, mother, and entrepreneur. I'm a firm believer in self-care and practice what I preach – whether it's squeezing in a workout, losing myself in a good book, or journaling to clear my mind. These moments of personal time recharge me, allowing me to show up fully for my family and our Mums and Tea community.
